Comments: I have a difficult prescription to fit, and Proclear has come as close as anyone to providing lenses that allow me to see pretty clearly. However, I've had a number of torn lenses using this product. This most recent box that I purchased has been very disappointing. In one month, 2 lenses have torn. At this rate a box that should have lasted 6 months is going to last 2. I had one instance where the lens tore in my eye, and I had to go to a doctor for him to retrieve it. At that time, he could only see half of it. I was able to pull out the other half the next morning. I've worn contact lenses for 17 years, and I never had trouble with torn lenses until I started wearing these, but being that I can see decently with them, I put up with it. They are comfortable and easy to put in though! Overall, I can't recommend this product to a friend due to all of the torn lenses, but if a friend had a very difficult prescription, then I would tell them to consider it. |
