Since I take medications that dry, I suggest using what my doctor told me to use which is Refresh Optive lubricant. Works great! I wear my glasses for if I'm not out and about, or need to do very clear work like reading very small print or sewing. They are a great bifocal glasses alternative however do not expect perfection, in my experience your glasses will give you a crisper sight and better at night and low light. These are great for everyday use that doesn't require super clarity. They are certainly clear enough for every day and driving, but you will probably still need a pair of reading glasses for those very small typed medicine bottles and such, or as I found out for tying small knots for fishing or sewing. They are great if you love to enjoy stylish sunglasses, if you cook in fumes, or smoke. As with any contact that barrier will keep your eyes from burning. My advice, purchase both the bifocal glasses and bifocal contacts, don't just go with one, and use as the circumstance requires!

I wear these contacts from 8 or 9 in the morning til bedtime everyday. I appreciate the fact that they are much more moist than the previous brand I wore. The moistness is very important for comfort and sharpness of vision. I find that the acuvue oasis contacts are not extremely fragile as others are. In fact, I would say they are durable. The only negative is that low light is still a problem.

I just began wearing contacts in my sixties after wearing glasses for about ten years. It did take me a little while to get the hang of getting them in and out, but once I did, I was hooked. Once I put them in, I don't even know they are there. Totally comfortable. I also don't get glare around the perimeter like I did with my glasses. I will say that I put my glasses in if I'm going to read for an extended length of time, as I can see marginally better for that with them.

I've tried other contact lenses...this is by far the best of the bunch. Sometimes I have to look at the fine print for a few seconds before it comes into focus...but always does. AMAZING! No more looking for or hassling with drug store reading glasses. Taking them on/off, ect. I'm good to go and its like I don't have Presbyopia.

These type of lenses are the most comfortable I have had in my 30+ yrs of wearing lenses, but I will need a multifocal that will give me great vision and these don't do its justice..I hope that Oasys will come up with some multifocals that really work for me, I have tryed all of their options and sadly I will have to move on to other brands that do not offer near the comfort but give me better vision both ways, what a shame. these lenses are still on the top of my list for comfort all day including outdoor activities.

I'd been having trouble with reading and computer work and decided to give these a try. I LOVE that you can't tell where far sighted changes to near sighted.

I have worn contact lenses for over 30 years. I typically wear my lenses from 8:00 am to midnight. Although you can leave these lenses in and wear continuously for 2 weeks at a time, I choose not to do this because my lenses get filmy and my eyes get irritated. I take these lenses out every evening and clean them and they stay nice and clear for up to a month of wear! These lenses are probably the most comfortable I have worn and it is great how my vision was able to be adjusted so I could see much clearer. With my previous lenses, I had to wear reading glasses on top of my contact lenses. Now I simply wear this one pair of lenses and I can see far away and I can read with no need for reading glasses!
